Whether you are a sportsman or a person looking for calm and relaxation, you will find what you are looking for in the vicinity. 20 minutes away by car, you can discover the town of Saint-Pierre, the former capital of the island called "Petit Paris", destroyed by the eruption of Mount Pele in 1902. You can walk in the town near the ruins of the theater or the church, go diving and explore the wrecks of the boats sunk during the eruption, or visit the Franck Perret museum dedicated to this disaster. In Carbet, accessible in 15 minutes by car, you can visit the only Zoo of Martinique, go hiking in the rainforest and reach the waterfall of Saut d'Eau du Carbet (100 meters high, it's worth a visit).
